CURLING...

The grade 6 classes from the school went into Sydney to the curling club to learn how to curl. This was Jay's first time curling and he loved it! One thing about this school that I love is the way they get the kids out there to try new and different things. Keeping the kids active and interested in what they are doing is one of their main goals and it is great for all the students. Unfortunately with the weather this winter they missed out on all their trips to the sliding hill but we did get them there a few times and had a blast.

That is so cool. I'm not sure what curling is, but it looks a little like shuffleboard? Maybe?

Carrie, great photo! Does Jay like curling? What is it about it that makes it so interesting? I have never figured that out. Is it the gliding?

Hugs, JJ
