Having grown up on a farm my husband has been around animals all his life, a love of animals big and small was instilled in his home throughout the years. A couple of years ago his father sold the family farmstead and moved into a smaller homestead. In the downsize he had to decide what he would continue to have for animals and what to give up. It was a beautiful building and was the right size for his horses so he decided to keep those and sell off the rest of his animals. As we moved 5 hours away we had step back from our daily help around the farm and we don't get enough time to visit as much as we would like but are hoping that in the future my husbands work will open up an opportunity back home and we can transfer back there to spend time caring for his horses.
