Take out Success

Well it has been almost a week since our last take out night. We are trying to watch our money a little smarter with so many bills and of course the rising costs attributed to the price of oil. The bonus of this is also that we are able to hopefully see some weight loss from the cutting out of the fat etc involved with the evil take out places.

Getting ready for the Beach

After many years of hiding myself behind clothes, and full bathing suits it is exciting to be thinking of wearing a bikini again. I have had lot's of support from my on-line friends along with my Mom who spent many a night talking to me on the phone while we both ran on the treadmill and also hubby who is supporting me on our diet and also working on the treadmill. I recently went out to the stores and actually tried on and even came out of the changing room to model the bikini's. It was a lot of work and we uses the Internet to research different diet pills that we could use to help up in our weight loss goals. A whole new attitude

I won't have a picture until sometime next week but I wanted to tell you that I had the most amazing morning. We started off at the car dealership to get my keyless remote replaced for our van (and looked at new cars) then we were off to Walmart to get the oil changed in the van. I was getting jealous at all the attention our dear van was getting so I headed off to look at clothes for myself. Now of course I ended up looking at yoga carpis, tops and jackets because that is what I have been living in since getting the treadmill and I found a great set (capris, tank top and matching jacket) that I absolutely fell in love with. It is brown and pink! Loved it.... we didn't have extra money in the budget but I tried it on anyway! Big mistake, I loved it even more and get this 6 weeks ago when I started on the treadmill I bought large yoga pants then a couple of weeks later had to buy a medium pair and I was happy with that. Well I became really good friends with the fitting room mirrors today and I needed to try on size S and they fit great and I could really see it and was extremely happy! This is a huge step for me to be able to admit how I feel. I still have some more weight to lose and then to maintain and tone my muscles but the results are paying off. Oh and BTW hubby ended up buying me the entire outfit for Mother's Day because it looked so good! I guess I will be getting back on the treadmill tonight after all. My journey continues and I have a bad day of eating to make up for ! Don't worry it won't happen for a couple of weeks we ran out of spending money. Only enough for gas and a few groceries....
OK that's all the time I have I am now off to Trinity's dance class.

WEIGH IN TUESDAY...

I started off pretty good with my weight loss but for the last few weeks I am not losing anything...good news I am not gaining either. I feel like I have flat lined lol. I really can't be too hard on myself because with the cold, messy and slippery winter weather I am not getting out walking anymore and I have been driving the kids to school everyday which is very sad because it's only a 10 minute walk. I just don't like taking my little boy out in the freezing cold. So enough with the excuses....I am sure the last 5 pounds will come off when I get out walking again!

WEIGHT LOSS UPDATE...

So here we are once again on Weight Loss Tuesday! This morning I updated my progress and again this week was looking at a weight loss of 0 lbs....ok so I shouldn't complain because I didn't gain any weight and I am already close to my goal. To be honest I didn't weigh in this morning when I got up I did it last night (late) before I went to bed because with the kids being home today the whole schedule was messed up and I didn't want to forget...I guess I jumped the gun...This afternoon (late afernoon) after lunch I finally got a chance to sneak in the shower but first I weighed myself like I usually do before I get in and to my surprise I was actually down 1 pounds! So now I am down a total of 5 lbs with 5 more to go but this will be hard because I have never been down less than this. Wish me luck I could be breaking my own record! I am started to feel good here thanks to some good blogging buddies keeping me motivated.

***DOWN 3 POUNDS!

I know I don't really have a whole lot of weight to lose but I do need to lose around 10 pounds to lose the weight the I have put on in the last six months. I am struggling with this it is winter and it harder to get out walking on a daily bases like I'm use to. So I have been watching what I eat and drinking lots more water and not much is coming off until this morning I noticed that I did in fact lose 3 pounds to go with the 1 pound I lost a few days ago...must be doing something right! So in total this week I have lost 4 pounds and at least 6 pounds left to go...anything else will be a bonus :0)

***LOSING WEIGHT....grrrr

I have been trying to lose some weight...not a lot of weight, I would be happy right now with losing 5-10 pounds but it doesn't matter what I do the weight will not come off. I have resorted back to my diet quite a few years ago when I ate special K for 2 meals a day and a good small portioned meal for the 3rd. Drinking lots of water and healthy snacks from time to time. I am giving this a try and with some walking and running my stairs I'm hoping to start seeing progress soon. Even a pound right now and I will be happy! Why is it so hard to do this time? EEEks, GRRRr. One day at a time!
