The Heat is ON

I had to break down today and put the heat on throughout the house. I have been fighting it for a while now with blankets and slippers but today, no way. It was so cold I couldn't help but crank all the heaters on to take the chill off the house. I could here the money draining through the oil pipes but it had to happen eventually, at least I made it almost to the end of October first. How's the weather in your area, have you cranked your heat yet?

First Day of Fall

Well today is the official first day of Fall, the leaves are changing and it is becoming a beautiful view. There are so many trees and bodies of water around here that it makes for a beautiful drive pretty well anywhere you choose to go. What are the highlites of your fall where you live. Of course it will be short lived as the days get shorter and it gets colder all the leaves will be falling of and the white stuff will be falling.

SNOW STORM...

We had our first snow storm last night and it was miserable outside, the visibility was really bad...as you can see from the picture we couldn't see anything past our back yard. It's hard to believe that as bad as the weather was...when we woke up this morning there didn't seem to be any more snow than we had yesterday before the snow storm...the kids still had fun playing outside today but were a little disappointed with still being able to see the grass.
