The Heat is ON

I had to break down today and put the heat on throughout the house. I have been fighting it for a while now with blankets and slippers but today, no way. It was so cold I couldn't help but crank all the heaters on to take the chill off the house. I could here the money draining through the oil pipes but it had to happen eventually, at least I made it almost to the end of October first. How's the weather in your area, have you cranked your heat yet?

Had to Heat

You know it's getting colder when you find yourself turning on the heat. Tonight was the first night I actually had to turn on my electric fireplace in the bedroom to take the chill off for the evening. It is too early in the fall for that but it was freezing tonight so I had no choice. With the raising costs of electricty and oil this winter it is going to be hard to keep the house as warm as I like it, I guess there might have to be extra cuddling...
