So finally after a couple months of waiting for a new coach my son's school has finally got their school basketball team up and going. The papers came home today to order them their own uniform and for now practices will take place Thursdays after school. This is one of my busiest day but hey why not get all the running done in one day LOL. Anyway he is so excited and is looking forward to the games. This will be a great experience for him and will give him the chance to play on a school team before heading off to Junior High. If all goes well he will probably try out for the team next year. I am looking forward to watching his games and seeing how he progresses over the next few months.

Nursing Homes
It was hard to see my grandmother's health taking a turn for the worst just 2 years ago. She was always such a strong woman and could do anything and everything for herself and to see her getting weaker was hard not only on the family but for her as well. After sometime it became harder for her to care for herself and with the family working it was getting time for them to consider different nursing homes where she would get the best care that she needed.
There are many options out there and the Bettercaring website is a dedicated service for anyone who is looking for and needing answers to crucial questions about caring for their loved ones or themselves. With Bettercaring you can make arrangements for the right kind of care and receive tips from care experts. You can search for nursing homes that fit special requirements and look into the care options available to you locally.
It's always hard when considering the option for a nursing home but sometimes it's the right place for the proper care. Before making this important decision look into Bettercaring for some helpful information on all it has to offer. Unfortunately for my family my grandmother passed away before needing to make this decision but we had the information we needed before hand. We wanted the best care possible for her and that's what she had right to the end.

Blog for Money
Just stop for a minute to think about all the hard work and time you are putting into your blog if you already have one if not this is something you might want to look into starting. It's a lot of work if you make it that way but it pays off with the great friendships you can have by visiting other blogs. I am a stay at home mother of four busy children and for me to work outside of the home is out of the question but I found myself asking how I could bring in some extra money to help with the huge expense of raising four children. Yes there was always the choice to offer childcare from my home but things were already to busy then a good friend of mine helped me with information to make extra money online through my blogs. That's right! I can stay at home and earn some extra money doing what I like to do. Blogging!
She got me hooked up with blog advertising through Smorty and I am having a great time reviewing and giving my opinions on many different websites. It is that simple, I get paid for blogging my opinions by writing articles! This website offers an easy to navigate site and you will be notified by email about new campaign offers. and with Smorty you get paid weekly. If you enjoy blogging and would like to earn some extra income then why not blog for money and earn money through Smorty.

***WHAT A DAY...
I don't know if this day could have been anymore busy then it was today...I was about to cry but finally I got things settled down and the two younger boys off to bed. I am serious when I say that I ran the roads all day getting errands done and picking up kids from school to get ready for dance classes, pick up hubby from work for his supper break to drop off at dance then drop him back at work, come back home to get to kids in pj's and make supper then run back out to pick up at dance to come home and get home work done...you get the point. And with all this I was still trying to get some paid blogging done. Well the night is almost over and I am still surviving with no end to job opps on the computer. I hit it lucky today but of all days it had to be my busiest. Oh well the night will be over soon and I can curl up in bed! Can't wait. Sorry if this post seems just as busy as my day but my mind hasn't slowed down yet....lol
Online Casino Reviews
I have been checking out some websites on the topic of gambling and casinos and as to what they offer and the benefit to online casino facilities. I don't do much gambling but I have some family members that make going to casinos a night out for entertainment which is great, but for some they would rather spend there time with an online casino and for them they will find this website at TopUsaOnlineCasinos.com.
This is a great website that offers reviews of online casinos that accept US players. This website is a Free guide to help US players find safe and fun online gambling websites where these casinos are ranked by pro blackjack and poker players and are also ranked by payout rate, bonus size, number of games, graphics, deposit options and more. If you are interested in this great website then I encourage you to take some time to check out all it has to offer by visiting the online poker room, online sportsbook and view their top 10 list.

Instead, “counterscape” your kitchen with Hamilton Beach’s retro-designed, affordably priced electrics in happy, sun-saturated colors. Their “Eclectrics” line includes updates to those classic appliances from the 1950s. All of their “Eclectrics” are available in six colors: Apple Green, Moroccan Red, Pineapple Yellow, Intrigue Blue, Sugar White and Licorice Black.
OK so this is a great contest but I do have to admit here that I do know first hand how great this Hamilton Beach Stand mixer really is. I got one of my own just before Christmas and I couldn't image my kitchen without it. But don't hold that against me....with that being said my mother is just waiting for the day that I hand this mixer over to her. I know she bakes a lot of cake for people and is considering starting to make wedding cakes for sale and she could really use a stand mixer. I am almost to the point of handing over my favorite kitchen appliance to my mother but if I am fortunate enough to win this stand mixer I will be able to keep mine and give her a gift that she will enjoy everytime she sets food into her kitchen as I do. I use mine for everything and I mean everything.

***PLANS FOR VALENTINES DAY!
It's hard to believe that Christmas has already passed and it's time to start making those big plans for Valentine's Day! This year my husband was given tickets to a Valentine's Day Gala for the hospital, so we thought we would take advantage of the tickets and have a night out without the kids. I have the sitter to arrange which is the easy part but what in the world do we wear. Apparently it's not overly formal but yet dressy so I will be doing some shopping trying to find something to wear. My husband is in need of some new dress pants and shoes so we will see what we can find for him. I did pick up a nice shirt and necklace today when I was out but not sure if it will be dressy enough for this occasion. Looking forward to the night out!

MERRY CHRISTMAS !
This will probably be my last post until after Christmas with all the work that needs to be done around the house to get ready for the big day!
Enjoy this time with your family and friends :0)
BREAKING CHRISTMAS TRADITIONS..
This is going to be a difficult Christmas for me this year. With my husbands job transfer this past summer it moved us 5 hours away from our family and with him working in retail and managing a store it doesn't allow him much time off to travel until after boxing day. So this year will be the first year that I break all the family traditions in 30 years and will not be home for Christmas at all until the 27th or 28th. We will be there until after the New Year to visit with family and friends but it won't be that same. This is something I knew I would have to face at some point but it's still hard. I have been busy thinking up new family traditions to pass along to our kids and hopefully someday we will be back home with our family. Dreams to come true, we just have to believe it will happen. Merry Christmas everyone!

For me, the year 2007 had a lot of happiness (and hope for 2008). Happiness because i see my son, grow and grow day by day. I have a great husband. I met lots of new friends from around the world via blogging ^_^ - Juliana RW
The year 2007 has been a good year for me. Me and my husband had our 10th anniversary, my children are healthy, I got a new great-nephew, and I made a lot of new friends through blogging. ~ Mom Knows Everything
The year 2007, oh wow what a busy year this has been for my family but a lot of great memories. After a fast, busy, hectic long distance move for us we took a much needed summer vacation camping and hanging out on the beach. We had the time of our lives and didn't want to see it come to an end but it had to and we are looking forward to going back next summer. What a year. My greatest memories are getting to spend this time with my husband and children. And blogging I can't forget all the great friends I've made. I couldn't ask for anything more. :0) Rantings of a Woman and Jabber Jaws
~ End of Copy ~
What did 2007 mean to you Jenn, Petula, Misty, Mel and Matt?

SNOW STORM...
We had our first snow storm last night and it was miserable outside, the visibility was really bad...as you can see from the picture we couldn't see anything past our back yard. It's hard to believe that as bad as the weather was...when we woke up this morning there didn't seem to be any more snow than we had yesterday before the snow storm...the kids still had fun playing outside today but were a little disappointed with still being able to see the grass.

WINDOW DECORATING...
Window painting is something I have done for many years in the windows of my homes but for the last two years I haven't been able to with having grids in our windows at the new mini home. But as you can see this year with our new home in Cape Breton I have a couple of windows that I was able to paint for Christmas. The kids love them! They are beautiful at night with the window lit up! Happy Holidays :0)
