OK Shoppers

This is it the plan is set, date night this weekend, Saturday will be transformed into a wonderful whirlwind of shopping to finish all our Christmas needs. Talk about sweeping me off my feet, my romantic hubby. Just kidding it was my idea to take the night to finish everything up. It seems like we have been so busy this year with all the kids sports and work, we need to take advantage of a night off so we can hit this list together and concour the Christmas Shopping. Good luck to all the other shoppers out there, I'm hoping you are all done so it's not busy when we hit the stores. LOL>

Gundam Style

I am so tired of the Gundam Style craze, every time I turn on the radio I am bombarded with this song. It's not even in English so we have to listen to it all the time, I'll grant it to you that the tune is catchy but can we just say the 15 minutes are over and get back to English music on our radio stations.

Insurance Hunter Online Comparison Made Easy

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Insurance Hunter for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Well school's back in for the fall and with moving our kids are learning all new routines and expectations. One thing we quickly discovered is that people do not respect school zones and drop off locations. Even with reduced speed limits in school zones I see speeding drivers flying by every day when I am dropping off the kids at school. I recently read the Insurance Hunter’s survey on driver safety in school zones and discovered that many facts say the same thing. The survey shares that over 66percent of parents drive their children to school which certainly adds to the congestion and confusion around drop off times at school zones. I can certainly understand the results from the survey that states 38 percent of parents have not recieved information from their childrens school regarding drop off/pick up proceedures and locations. We were new this year and there was no information sent home with all the forms and paperwork not one mention of the proceedures. I really found the Ontario School Zone Safety Survey rang so true with our family it seemed to be so accurate and I encourage you to check out the results for yourself and see how the results compare to your families experiences. If you are currently looking for information on insurance programs and options for your auto insurance needs you can review the Insurance Hunters website to get online comparisons on home, auto, travel and more quickly and have your quote followed up with a qualified insurance broker to ensure you have the best insurance options for you and your families needs.

New TV Season

It's that time of year when all the new shows are starting their runs and old favorites are returning. One of our families favorite shows so far this season is the Revolution. We began watching it and quickly it became a family favorite. We now have to DVR the show every week and sit down Tuesday Night and Watch it with the entire family. It really is a fun adventure that offers something for our entire family to keep us interested and wanting more. The premise is a world 15 years after a massive blackout the wipes out all electronic and mechanical devises but at the same time telling the back story that happened along the way. We can't wait to see what happens next.

New Career Plan

My cousin is quickly approaching the end of her High School career and she has been contemplating on what the next step will be for her. She certainly loves to work with hair and make up and has been considering going to a Regency Beauty School. She really would like to attend a modern school so she has looked at regency beauty schools, which began in 2002 with just 2 campuses and currently has over 80 with much more expansion to come. It really is a great school and offers lots of experience to its students through discounted services provided by students with great guidance from the supervisors.

The pastor's ass

The pastor entered his donkey in a race and it won.

The pastor was so pleased with the donkey that he entered In another race and it won again. The local paper read:
PASTOR'S ASS OUT FRONT.
The Bishop was so upset with this kind of publicity that he ordered The pastor not to enter the donkey in any more races. The next day the local paper headline read:
BISHOP SCRATCHES THE PASTOR'S ASS.
This was too much for the Bishop, so he ordered the pastor To get rid of the donkey. The pastor decided to give it to a nun in a nearby convent. The local paper, hearing of the news,Posted the following headline:

NUN HAS THE BEST ASS IN TOWN.
The Bishop fainted.
He informed the nun that she would have to get rid of the donkey so she sold it to a farmer for $10. The next day the headlines read:
NUN SELLS ASS FOR $10.
This was too much for the Bishop, so he ordered the nun to buy back The donkey and lead it to the high plains where it could run free. The next day the headlines read:
NUN ANNOUNCES HER ASS IS WILD AND FREE.
Alas .... The Bishop was buried the next day.
MORAL OF THE STORY???
Being concerned about public opinion can bring you Much grief and misery and even shorten your life. So, be yourself and enjoy life. Stop worrying about everyone else's ass and you'll live longer.

Why Hubby is Tired

I didn't think my husband minded me staying home raising the children until he sent me this email...

Dear I'm tired...

The population of this country is about 237 million.
~104 million are retired.
~That leaves 133 million to do the work.
~There are 85 million in school, which leaves 48 million to do the work.
~Of this there are 29 million employed by the federal government, leaving 19 million to do the work.
~2.8 million are in the Armed Forces, which leaves 16.2 million work.
~Take from the total the 14,800,000 people who work for State and City Governments and that leaves 1.4 million to do the work.
~At any given time there are 188,000 people in hospitals, leaving 1,212,000 to do the work.
~Now, there are 1,211,998 people in prisons.
~That leaves just two people to do the work.
~You and me.
~And you're sitting at your computer reading jokes...

This was all in good fun, he really loves the fact that I am willing to stay home with the kids!

Pest Control

They invade when you least expect it, they can hide for months destroying your home from the inside out without you evening knowing it's happening. Cock Roaches and other insects can sneak into your home through the smallest of cracks in your homes base and foundation. Once in they love to make themselves at home and multiply. Now you can wait for the worst to happen and call in the experts to help eliminate your unwanted house guests or you can be proactive and call in the Houston Pest Control experts to do an analysis of your home and come up with a plan to protect your home from the invaders. It is a great idea to put a small investment into protecting you home that you work so hard for everyday. Again it is easier to put an ounce of prevention into your home planning. With the warm weather and climate of the Houston area it is a great breading ground for cock roaches.
