All inclusive vacation package

Oh it is so time for us to get off on a family vacation, we have been so busy the last year and a half since we moved. Between getting the house renovated, getting the kids settled into school and activities. With me returning to the work force it has added to the fun of scheduling things. We haven't taken the kids on a get away family vacation ever and they are starting to get to the age that we feel they would really enjoy a trip. We all love the beach so much that we want to get to a resort with a beach and a lot of fun activities. We discovered the Karisma line of hotels, these resorts offer an all inclusive experience so all you have to worry about is having fun. They pride themselves on providing the best service there on your demand to make the experience the best it can be. We are planning on taking our trip next spring to give us time to save up a bit of money so we can really enjoy ourselves.

Vacation Time

It's time to go on a vacation. It has been 3 long months since we have been home for a visit with family. We are heading out tommorrow for 5 days of fun, visiting and catching up. We will be taking the kids to movies, local amusement park, dinners and of course a couple of birthday parties. It will be a bit of a challange with the dog as we will be taking her with us, luckily she is starting to feel a bit better from her surgery last week.

Time to head home

This morning we are starting to pack up all our stuff to jam in the van and head home after 2 weeks I thing everyone is ready to get back to our home. We sure had a lot of fun but I think we are all worn out and I know the bank account took a big beating over the vacation. It will be nice to get back to routine and start getting the kids ready to go back to school. I know my bed is calling my name, it will be great to get back to the memory foam mattress. ZZZZZZZ.......

Vacation almost over

Well after 2 weeks away from home it is almost time for us to head back home. I think we are all tired enough that we are ready to get back to our daily routine possibly relax more at home than we have on vacation. LOL. We all had a great time and look forward to going back on our summer vacation next year. I would say the kids did great overall and should be going to bed early for a week to catch up on some lost sleep from the late nights.

Days of Rain

When getting ready to go on vacation camping with the kids it's hard to get excited about the whole thing when all it has been doing is raining. We have been getting things ready now for almost a week and what a job it is getting ready for 6 people. Not only am I trying to get everything ready but with the weather the kids have been stuck in the house and are extremely bored and are spending their days fighting. Now for the good news. Today was much nicer and the kids got out to the park and ran off some of their energy and went to bed early for their big day tomorrow!

Vacation = 4 Days

Only 4 more days until we are going on our summer family vacation. We are trying to get packed early so we (I) won't get all stressed on the day we leave. We are making a lot of progress and with a little bit of luck we will be ready by Thursday so all I have to do is hang around and wait for hubby to finish up work on Friday. We are hoping for 2 weeks of lot's of sun, it has rained her the last couple of days and hoping the tropical storm and the rain is all out of it's system by the weekend.

My boy is home

After 5 days my oldest boy has finally returned home, it really makes you appreciate him more and we all really missed him. He went on a summer vacation with his friends family at their camp. It's hard for me to let him go but I know he is getting older (12) so I have to try harder to let him have his space and go on adventures without us. It's great to have him home, he seems like he has grown so much in only a couple of days

Lot's of Projects

Hubby's on vacation and my parents are coming on the weekend, this equals a lot of projects around the house this week. With spring coming and hopefully some luck we will have some nice weather. We really want to get outside and start doing some of the projects around the yard and outside of the house. We have lots of trim around the house that needs painted and the fence needs a coat. We also want to start putting up some shutters on the new windows and paint the outside doors a nice burgandy to match. We hope it will be a productive week, wish us luck.

March Break the next stage

We are wrapping up our visit here in Moncton and are getting ready to start heading back home. After packing up the van today we are heading off to visit Matt's parents for a couple of days before we head back home. There is supposed to be a storm coming over the weekend so we will see if it will cut our trip short or make it longer? The kids are having a blast so far but starting to get a little tired out, they will be off to bed early tonight.
